    Rare vintage aircraft octant made by Pioneer Instruments
    Mark III Model 3
    Weight: 2 pounds 12 ounces
    Measurement: 7" x 3 3/4" x 4 1/8" high
    Estimated date of manufacture and use is early to mid 1930's

    In good condition. Appears complete. All wheels and knobs move. The leather eye cover (part included) has separated from the eye piece. There is one screw missing that holds the chart on the side of the octant. Please note that the 4 brackets on the right side is for a pocket watch which is not included.
