    Description

    This is an original  Korean War and Vietnam War USCG , USN and USAF HU-16 Grumman Albatross Rescue Seaplane Fuel gauge instrument. The Albatross is a large twin engine all metal seaplane that can land on water or land.This instrument is in excellent condition. It is 3 1/ x 3 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. The Grumman Albatross first flew in 1947 and was used by the USAF as the SA-16 in the Korean war.. The USN and the USCG also flew the Albatross as the  JR2F-1 and the UF-1. It was changed to the HU-16 in 1962. Today the albatross is still being flown by several private owners. This gauge is being sold as a collectable.We accept payment by PayPal in US dollars only.  Payment must be received within 10 days of auction closing unless prior arrangements have been made.
