    Description

    Early Blackfoot Parfleche Bonnet Case on Buffalo.  Very large at 6.5” x 22”, this cylinder is 1850-1870 overall red from years of ceremonial use with the application of red ocher to the case. Remnants of black and red paint designs can still be seen.  Both top and bottom discs are present as is most of its fringe. The original hide tie exist but it’s on its last leg. This is a great, early, large parfleche cylinder having seen many years of actual use.
    I will be listing a few, good honest old Indian pieces. Trades considered for good Apache/Southern plains material
