    Vintage WWII PBY “Catalina” Propeller Blade
    ! This
    6353A-12 Propeller Blade
    came from
    Tradewinds Aircraft Supply Company
    and it has a serviceable label from
    San Antonio Propeller Company
    dated Feb. 15, 2001.
    Tradewinds
    was a company that dealt in surplus WWII era aircraft parts for many decades and they closed their business and sold off their inventories about 10 years ago.
    According to the
    Consolidated PBY Tech Order No. AN-01-5MA-2 (Dated May 15, 1945) “Erection & Maintenance Manual”,
    p/n:
    6353A-12 Hamilton Standard Blades
    were used in 3-bladed
    23E50-473 Propellers
    on the
    PBY “Flying Boat”
    and a number of other WWII era military aircraft including the A-30 Martin Baltimore.

    It can be picked up in Dallas, Texas or I can have a special wooden box custom built for shipping for 5. As for shipping cost, that would be the buyer’s expense and it will depend on how and where it would need to be shipped. The blade weighs 71 pounds and boxed will weigh 135 pounds in the custom built wooden box. If buyer wants to arrange shipping, the box dimensions would be 72” long x 15” wide x 13”. Buyer to determine if this item will work for their application as there is no warrantee or guarantee expressed or implied.
