ca.1931 MICKEY MOUSE Writing TABLET w/ Minnie & Goofy, School Scene Walt Disney

Description

For bid is an original, undated circa 1929-1935 Walt Disney Entertainment "MICKEY MOUSE TABLET" writing tablet featuring an image of Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse and Goofy entering school while a Cow teacher rings a bell at the entrance.  Tablet manufactured by Powers Paper Company of Springfield, Massachusetts.  No date.
Some sheets were torn out.  Others have writing in purple ink and pencil (writing looks adult).  One page has a date of 1936 handwritten at the top.  Several paes were torn out at the back of the tablet.
The original red binding at the top is tearing at the left but still holding well.
This is a terrific piece of Mickey Mouse / Walt Disney Ent. history.
These are pretty rare as the paper was mostly pulpy and thrown away back in the 1930's.  Serious ephemera.
