    Description

    A spectacular showy large Sioux or Cheyenne awl case dating to circa 1885. Great bead colors and bold striped design including white heart rose red beads. Overall with tail, the piece measures 15".  The parfleche tube alone is 8.75" long. The partial awl inside has amazing polish/patina, and extends 3.5". This excellent early Plains item is coming from an estate collection we will be liquidating over the next several weeks, so check back with us often as we are running new listings almost daily.
