    I am starting to sell off a large portion of my historic Native American collection, so be sure to check out my other auctions. Offered is a very rare Blackfeet Buffalo Tipi Ornament, ca. 1890. It measures 5.5" long x 2.8" tall and is made from recycled parfleche. These ornaments were hung in the tipis for spiritual luck in buffalo hunts and during ceremonies honoring the animal.  This piece was formerly in the late Robert Scriver collection of Montana; most of his collection is now housed in a Canadian museum.
