Description

Antique Iroquois Beaded Pin Cushion With Bird 10 X 10. Condition is "Used". This one is almost heart shaped and has a lot of beadwork dangling front the border as well as flowing out of the flowers. Beadwork also features a bird. These pin cushions were often made in the mid to late 1800's and sold as souvenirs at Niagara Falls and other similar tourist destinations.  I do not know the origin of this one. Beadwork does have flaws associated with age, most notably at the bottom as shown in photo. The backside is oil cloth and has some damage fixed decades ago with tape.
