We are offering an antique circa 1890's Sioux Indian beaded tear drop bag, sinew sewn on hide. Red, white & blue fully beaded front has two images of opposing American flags, one over the other in the center, surrounded by a red & white "candy cane" border, all on a medium blue field. The reverse side is bordered with stepped medium blue and white beaded rectangular elements with 3 swags of the same themed features, plus 3 triangular drops, 2 whiteheart red & white and 1 medium blue & white. Measures approximately 7" at the widest x 9 1/4" in length.
In very good overall condition. All original, no alterations or repairs. Minor bead loss to the back side as shown at the bottom edge, no visible loss to the front side. Very solid overall. The hide is soft & pliable.
