3 Trade Bead Necklaces/Arrowheads/Misc Yolo County Calif Ex Baker Collection

Description

A frame of three trade bead necklaces,17 arrowheads/knives, six bone pipe beads and one drilled shell pendant. All of these beads are original Venetians.
Necklace 1 is 31" long and contains 18 facetted cobalt blue "Russian" beads,16 small drilled clamshell beads, many white padre beads and a drilled U.S. large cent pendant.
Necklace 2 is 27" long and contains 104 trade beads, ranging from cylindrical and round white padres to Cornaline d" Allepos to facetted cobalt blue "Russians".
Necklace 3 is 34" long and contains many small white and red whiteheart seed beads.
The 17 arrowheads/knives range from 3/4" to 2" long and are made from black obsidian, tan agate and red jasper.
The six bone hair pipe beads range from 1 1/2" to 4" long.
The clamshell pendant is 7/8" and drilled.
All these beads/points were found in 1959 by Herbert Comomache of Roseville, California on private land near the site of a former village named Liwaito along Putah Creek in Yolo County, California. The beads/points are attributed to the Patwin Tribe, a branch of the Wintun Tribe that intermarried with the Yokuts and Miwok Tribes.
The necklaces were put together  by Daryl Baker, well-known former Oregon Archeological Society member; the necklaces and points were in his collection for over 50 years.
All artifacts I sell on Ebay were collected on private land and in full concurrence with all then applicable Federal and State laws.
