This original pencil drawing from 1937 of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs This is the beginning of Snow White Movie of the Cottage. This Drawing showcases Snow Whites Cottage with different animals in three locations in front of the cottage. Attention to detail is incredible. The artwork highlights Snow Whites Cottage in a fantastic view with incredible detail of the front of the cottage, animals, trees and landscape. Also attention to the details on water bucket sitting atop of a bench. As you can see in the art work this was the first beginning of the cottage that Frank Follmer did when he first started working on Show White. This piece is truly one of a kind. Frank Follmer, an immensely talented artist who had drawn profusely in the sports section of the San Francisco Chronicle, was hired by the Disney Studios in early 1937. Almost immediately he was thrust into the production of Snow White, drawing many of the exterior and interior shots of the Cottage utilized in the film. Frank worked closely with Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas and was further a prolific artistic talent on Pinocchio and Fantasia. You will receive Picture of Disney animators in the Studio.
